The Church is the largest room in our premises and almost all acts of worship are held here. The body of the pews are arranged in a semi-circular pattern around the raised platform at the front. The pipe organ and choir stalls can be seen in this picture behind the two reading lecterns.
Originally, the pews extended to the back of the church, even under the gallery, but some years ago several rows were removed, creating a carpeted lounge area where people meet and chat over a 'cuppa' after the morning service.
A modern sound system, has been installed ensuring that no matter where you sit, you should have no difficulty in hearing the service.
Ever wondered what is behind those organ pipes at the front of the church?
