As we approach our centenary we stand at a pivotal moment in our story. A time to honour our rich heritage and embrace the future with faith and purpose. The founders of our Church had the vision to build premises that would serve the community and stand the test of time. But as we reach our centenary there is a need to take a bold step forward.

In the community buildings we will modernise the kitchens and undertake full redecoration. The installation of solar energy panels will support our strategy to reach Net Zero by 2030. Externally, we need to repair the original stonework and refurbish the car park.

In the Church we will replace the wooden exterior doors and make the entrance more open and welcoming. By removing the choir stalls we will create a large open, flexible and accessible worship space. And the redesign of the tea & coffee servery will create an informal area for social gathering.

The Drive Methodist Church Centenary Mission Development Project is ambitious and has been costed at £600,000. We have raised nearly £550,000, but we need your help to close the funding gap and to bring the project to fruition.
